What is important to know about jewelry?
Material
All jewelry in our studio is made of titanium. This metal has the most positive impact on the piercing and healing process.

Jewelry selection
You can view the jewelry assortment in the studio before the session or by prior appointment.

Cost
The jewelry is not included in the piercing cost and is paid separately. The basic option starts from 20 BYN.
Q&A
Piercing with a gun is considered quite dangerous because the piercing is done directly with the jewelry, which is not sharp. This means the jewelry simply tears the tissue.
In our studio, all piercings are performed only with needles.
Piercing Aftercare Guide
After piercing:
  • Do not get the piercing wet for 24 hours.
  • Avoid saunas, hot springs, swimming pools, gyms, or tanning for 2 weeks.
  • Do not remove, twist, or touch the jewelry with your hands (you may lose the jewelry or damage/displace the piercing).
  • Be careful when using towels and when putting on or taking off glasses or accessories that may catch the jewelry.
  • Do not sleep on the piercing site until the jewelry is replaced with a shorter one.
  • Avoid contact with hair, cosmetics, and any creams. Do not use hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, calendula, or ointments. (Alcohol and hydrogen peroxide burn the mucosa and new skin, prolonging healing and potentially causing pain. Folk tinctures are usually alcohol-based, and ointments are a breeding ground for bacteria.)

The first 3 weeks are the initial healing period. During this time:
  • Clean the piercing with water twice a day.
  • Remove crusts with cotton swabs twice a day. Crusts form due to lymph fluid secretion during healing, and there may be slight bleeding in the first 2 days.
  • Soften the crusts first, then gently clean the discharge from both sides with a cotton swab to avoid micro-injuries.
  • If the jewelry becomes loose, tighten it yourself.
  • If the jewelry falls out, reinsert it immediately. If you cannot do it yourself, insert any side of the labret or any thin jewelry to avoid the channel closing, and contact the studio immediately. Otherwise, the piercing may close.

After 3 weeks, if the piercing is not bothering you, you can reduce the cleaning frequency (e.g., once a week or every 3 days).
If you experience any discomfort, contact the studio immediately. Piercings should bring aesthetic pleasure, not pain.
After 4-5 weeks:
  • The initial jewelry is installed with some extra length to accommodate swelling, ensuring the jewelry does not press on the piercing and allowing smooth initial healing. Therefore, after 4-5 weeks, you must schedule a downsizing procedure to avoid migration, inflammation, or distortion of the piercing.

After the jewelry is replaced, you can sleep on the piercing site and not worry about touching it, but still remain cautious.
Until fully healed, we strongly recommend not changing the jewelry to rings or any other jewelry purchased elsewhere!
If you follow all the recommendations, the healing process will go smoothly and faster.
